information from the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya catalog

description: Probably it was the central table of an altarpiece dedicated to the Virgin. The Virgin turns out to be enthroned and crowned, and in her feet there can be seen the crescent of the Moon that it sends us to the figure of the Woman described by John the Apostle in the Book of Revelation. The Virgin takes the Child in the skirt, nude and with a fragment of coral of the neck. Both are accompanied by four angels, two of them play the lute and other two offer a plate of bunch to the Virgin and other one with pears, to the Child.
